Period 8 Review: Prosperous Qi Flow from Center to West

Today I want to talk about Feng Shui Period 9: the Feng Shui changes from 2024 to 2043. During Period 8, I wrote articles analyzing how prosperous Feng Shui energy would move from the center toward the west. And indeed, during Period 8's 20 years, we witnessed this. Western areas developed particularly well. Take Hong Kong as an example: the western areas like Tuen Mun and Lantau Island, and after the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge opened, Feng Shui prosperous Qi was transmitted all the way to Macao and Zhuhai.

In other words, it carried Hong Kong's Feng Shui prosperous Qi to the west. So starting from 2004, Macao became extremely prosperous with rapid economic growth, while the Zhuhai and Zhongshan area also saw very active economies.

Period 9 New Pattern: Prosperous Qi Shifts North and Northeast

Now, entering Period 9 in 2024, Feng Shui energy is beginning to shift toward our north and northeast directions. This is a very obvious phenomenon. Of course, many Hong Kong people went north before, but in the two years since Period 9 began in 2024, we've seen Hong Kong become relatively quiet as many people head north. People's movement goes north, and naturally prosperous Qi follows north.

Besides moving north, it will also move toward the northeast direction. Period 9 belongs to the Li trigram fire period, symbolizing transformation and renewal, with the northeast becoming the new Qi convergence point.

Hong Kong Example: Sai Kung's High Island Reservoir Popularity Surge

For example, taking Hong Kong as an example, as a shopping capital, crowds typically concentrate in core areas like Tsim Sha Tsui and Causeway Bay. Notably, in the past one to two years, many people have been going to Sai Kung for leisure, people enjoy hiking. Of course, this is also a change in travel habits. Especially we've seen recent news saying: High Island Reservoir's east dam is packed with people.

If we measure from Hong Kong's center, such as the Yau Tsim Mong area, High Island Reservoir's location belongs to the northeast position. Everyone can understand this change is quite remarkable—prosperous Qi is slowly moving northeast.

Shenzhen Greater Bay Area: Huizhou Daya Bay Emerging Hotspot

Another example is Shenzhen. If we take Shenzhen as the center, northeast is Huizhou. Or closer by, the Huiyang, Danshui, and Daya Bay area. We can see that over the next 20 years, during Period 9, Shenzhen's prosperous Qi will be carried to Huizhou and Huiyang.

We're already gradually seeing many people—whether from Shenzhen or Hong Kong friends—love buying property around Huizhou and Daya Bay. Of course, housing prices there are much cheaper than Shenzhen, but remember its transportation infrastructure and planning. In the future, Shenzhen will have metro line extensions to Huizhou, and Huiyang will establish a very large transportation hub center. These transportation centers will realize connectivity.

Transportation Hubs = Feng Shui Water Mouths: Key Catalysts for Prosperity

Transportation equals what Feng Shui calls water—only places with water can drive prosperous Qi. So for the next 20 years, if considering property investment, everyone should consider Huizhou. Some friends ask me where to buy property for the next 10-20 years, and I recommend Huizhou. Places like Zhuhai and Zhongshan were great during Period 8, and I myself bought property in Zhuhai. But I don't recommend Period 9 there, because prosperous Qi will return to our north or northeast.

Period 9 Investment Recommendations and Future Planning

Period 9 fire period benefits technology, culture, and creative industries. North-northeast transportation hub areas have the greatest potential. Huizhou Daya Bay not only has affordable housing prices but also metro line extensions and large transportation hubs, making it Period 9's new blue ocean market.
